Can angina cause a heart attack?

I've been diagnosed with angina, and sometimes I feel chest pain. My doctor said to be careful, but I'm constantly worried. Does having angina mean I'm at a higher risk of having a full-blown heart attack, ya phir angina itself is separate?

Listen buddy, don't stress too much, but yes, angina is basically your heart's way of shouting for help. It means blood flow is reduced, which can indeed lead to a heart attack if ignored. Just get it checked by a cardiologist soon, okay?

Yes, angina is a very serious warning sign that the heart isn't getting enough oxygen. My relative had this and we immediately took them to a doctor, who helped manage it before any emergency occurred. Please take care and consult a specialist right away.

Yes, angina is a primary warning sign of coronary artery disease and can lead to a heart attack if left untreated. Please see a cardiologist.

I was just reading up on this because my uncle was diagnosed with stable angina. Apparently, it is a major warning sign, and unstable angina can directly lead to a heart attack if the blockage gets worse. It's really important to keep doctor appointments.

Yes, it can lead to a heart attack, so don't delay the checkup. A basic ECG and Echo test will cost around Rs 1500 to 2000 in most labs, which is very worth it to avoid expensive emergency hospitalizations later. Plan and book it this week.

I have lived with stable angina for over ten years now, beta. It is a warning to change your lifestyle and take medicines on time. If you follow your doctor's instructions, you can live a full life and prevent a heart attack.

Angina definitely increases the risk of a heart attack because of clogged arteries. If your cardiologist allows it, engaging in light, regular walking can help strengthen your heart over time, but always clear any exercise plan with them first.

This is so frightening to think about. Has anyone else here felt a sudden tightness in the chest and managed to treat their angina successfully without getting a heart attack? I am feeling extremely nervous about these symptoms.
