Can anesthesia cause vomiting?

I have an upcoming surgery and I'm really worried about feeling sick afterwards. My friend told me that sometimes anesthesia can cause vomiting. Is this a common side effect?

Yes, the body takes some time to release the heavy medicines from its system, which can cause vomiting. Stay positive, keep your mind calm, and let the body rest. With time and care, this phase will pass.

Oh, absolutely! Post-operative nausea and vomiting are super common after general anesthesia. When I had my wisdom tooth surgery, I threw up twice. Try to sip on ice water or ask your doctor for an anti-vomiting tablet, it helps a lot.

Yes, nausea and vomiting are very well-known side effects of anesthesia. It usually clears up within 24 hours of the procedure.

Haan, anesthesia ke baad ulti hona bohot aam baat hai.

Dekho, anesthesia ke baad ulti aana ekdum normal hai, ghabrane ki koi baat nahi. Par agar surgery ke 24 ghante baad bhi ulti nahi ruk rahi hai, toh ghar pe mat baitho. Seedhe doctor ko call karo aur unse anti-emetic injection ya medicine likhwao.
