Can an itchy spot be skin cancer?

I have this one small spot on my arm that has been itching a lot lately and seems to be changing a bit in appearance. My aunt had skin issues, so I'm a bit worried. Is it possible for just an itchy spot to be a sign of something serious like skin cancer?

Honestly, dont freak out searching online, Google always shows the worst things first. I had this super itchy dry patch on my neck last semester and thought it was something major. Turned out to be just regular eczema from hostel water, so relax and just show a skin specialist once.

Bro, just get it checked by a dermatologist instead of guessing. I had a mole that started itching like crazy last year and I got scared. The doc examined it and said it was benign but it's always better to be safe with skin stuff.

I tried everything from aloe vera to coconut oil on a weird itchy spot on my arm, but it just wouldnt go away. Finally, my doctor told me that while most itchy spots are just dry skin or allergies, any spot that changes shape or bleeds needs a proper medical checkup. Home remedies are good for basic itching, but dont delay a doctor visit if it looks unusual.

It is 3 AM and here I am reading about itchy skin spots instead of sleeping. Honestly, half the time my skin itches just because I forgot to drink water or change my bedsheets. Just go to a clinic tomorrow so you can sleep peacefully without overthinking this.

In our days, we used to apply a little fresh neem paste or haldi for skin itching and it usually worked well. But beta, if the itchy spot is changing color, growing, or not healing at all, please go to a skin specialist. Some things cannot be cured with simple ghar ke nuskhe and need a doctor's eye.
