Can an enlarged liver be reversed?

My husband was recently diagnosed with an enlarged liver, and we are quite worried. The doctor mentioned changes in diet and lifestyle. Is it possible for an enlarged liver to actually go back to its normal size, or is it a permanent condition?

My sleep schedule is a mess and my lifestyle isn't perfect, but even I know that fatty liver can be turned around if you catch it early. Cut down on the oily late-night snacks and sugary drinks. It takes effort, but the liver is pretty forgiving if we start behaving.

At my age, many of my friends got diagnosed with hepatomegaly due to fatty liver. Those who took their doctors seriously, ate simple home-cooked food, and walked daily reversed it completely. The liver has a wonderful capacity to heal itself if you care for it.

As someone who deals with patient records daily, I can assure you that early-stage liver enlargement is very reversible. The key is addressing the root cause, whether it's alcohol, high cholesterol, or medications. Keep working closely with your physician and stay regular with your tests.

I remember crying so much when my ultrasound showed an enlarged liver, I thought my health was completely ruined. Please don't panic like I did; it is highly manageable. With proper dietary changes and doctor's advice, your liver can heal beautifully.

Bro, yes it is totally reversible if it is just early-stage fatty liver. I had grade 1 fatty liver last year because of junk food. I stopped drinking beer, worked out daily, and my reports came back completely normal in six months.

Look, it won't reverse on its own while you keep eating samosas and sweets. You have to stop alcohol immediately, cut the oily food, and lose some weight. Do a repeat ultrasound after 3 months of strict routine to check progress.
