Can allergies cause vomiting and nausea?

My friend mentioned he sometimes feels nauseous and even vomits when his allergies are really bad. Is it true that allergies can cause such severe digestive symptoms?

I totally get it, dealing with nausea and vomiting on top of allergy symptoms is just exhausting. It can actually happen if you have a food allergy or if severe post-nasal drip is upsetting your stomach. Please don't push yourself, take plenty of rest and sip some warm water.

Bro, yes! Last year I had some crazy reaction to peanuts and I was puking the whole night. It starts with a super weird itchy feeling and then extreme nausea. If it's happening to u right now, better call a doc instead of waiting it out.

Haan beta, humare yahan bhi kuch logon ko dahi ya baigan khane se turant ulti jaisa lagne lagta hai. Sharir jab kisi cheez ko bura maanta hai toh aisa hota hai. Aap thoda garam paani pijiye aur badhe doctor babu ko zaroor dikha lijiye.

I just went through this last week after having some seafood. It started with heavy nausea and then I ended up vomiting twice. The doctor told me it was a classic allergic reaction and gave me some meds. I am completely fine now, so please get a prescription rather than suffering.

Please be very careful. Last year my nephew had nausea and vomiting from what we thought was a mild food allergy, but his throat started swelling soon after and we had to rush to the ER. Do not ignore these symptoms or wait. Get a proper medical checkup immediately to rule out severe reactions.

If this is happening repeatedly, getting an allergy panel test is the best way, but honestly those tests are quite expensive in private labs. I suggest going to a government hospital or a local trust clinic first where consultation is cheap. They can prescribe basic anti-allergy pills which are very pocket-friendly.
