Please get this checked by an ENT specialist. I once ignored mild ear pain during a seasonal allergy attack, and it turned into a severe fluid buildup and middle ear infection that took weeks to heal.
My doctor explained that nasal allergies cause swelling in the Eustachian tube, which connects the back of the nose to the middle ear. This blockage creates pressure and pain in the ears. An antihistamine or nasal spray usually helps, but a proper diagnosis is necessary.
Taking steam inhalation twice a day really helps clear the nasal passage and relieves that heavy ear pressure. You don't need expensive treatments for basic congestion, just use plain water steam and stay in a warm room.
As someone managing high blood pressure, I always get my ears and sinuses checked regularly because sinus pressure can sometimes make my head feel heavy and elevate my stress levels. Keep a check on your general health and consult a physician.
