Can alcohol-induced diabetes be reversed?

My uncle has been diagnosed with what the doctor called 'alcohol-induced diabetes.' He's cut down on drinking drastically. Is there a chance that this type of diabetes can actually be reversed, or is it permanent?

Bro, don't stress too much about the heavy terms right now. If it's caught early, cutting down the drinks completely and fixing your diet can do wonders. Just talk to a good doc and take it one day at a time, you've got this!

As someone managing diabetes for 6 years, I can tell you that pancreas damage from alcohol can be severe. Even if it's not fully reversible, giving up alcohol and strictly tracking your carb intake is crucial. Please get your HbA1c tested and follow a proper medical plan.

Hey! While permanent diabetes can't fully go away, stopping alcohol can definitely help control your sugar levels big time! Your pancreas gets a chance to heal properly. Super positive vibes your way, definitely consult a doctor soon! 😊

Along with stopping alcohol, you can start having amla juice or methi water in the morning to support your digestion. But please don't rely only on ghar pe remedies for diabetes. If your sugars are very high or you feel dizzy, see a doctor immediately.

Honestly, the solution is simple but needs hard work. Stop the alcohol completely first, start walking 30 minutes daily, and cut out bakery sweets and maida. Keeping a basic glucose monitor at home is very useful to check how your body responds.
