Can aids cause kidney failure?

A family member has been diagnosed with AIDS, and we are trying to learn more about how it affects the body over time. I'm worried about organ damage. Can AIDS eventually lead to kidney failure?

A close family friend of ours who was living with advanced HIV had to go on dialysis because of kidney issues. His doctor told us that managing the viral load early is the best way to prevent this from happening.

Yes, HIV can definitely affect the kidneys directly (often called HIVAN) or through certain medications. 🌸 But don't worry, staying regular with your treatments keeps your kidneys in great shape! physically sending positive vibes! ✨

Haan babu, is bimari mein gurde par bhi asar pad sakta hai agar ilaaj thik se na ho. Aap bilkul chinta mat kijiye, acche doctor se daba chalu rakhiye aur dher saara paani peete rahiye.

Yes, it absolutely can. I faced severe kidney complications myself due to delayed treatment of my condition. Please don't ignore any changes in urination or swelling in your feet, and see a nephrologist immediately.
