Can acid reflux cause vomiting in the morning?

Most mornings, I wake up with severe heartburn, and often it leads to me throwing up whatever little I had the night before. This has been happening for a while now. Can acid reflux really cause vomiting in the morning?

Yes, acid buildup overnight often causes extreme morning nausea and throwing up right after waking up. Since you probably don't have time to deal with this before work, just schedule a quick doctor's visit to get an effective antacid prescription. It will save you a lot of morning struggle.

It actually happens to me quite often, yaar. I wake up with this sour, bitter taste in my mouth and end up vomiting bile. Drinking a glass of lukewarm water first thing helps, but definitely see a doctor to treat the root cause.

I have been waking up with a very bad burning chest and throwing up sometimes, is this really just acid reflux? I am a bit scared to go to the doctor alone. Does anyone else get this daily, or should I be worried?

Yes, many people in this group face morning vomiting due to stomach acid accumulating while lying down all night. A very helpful tip is to avoid caffeine on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Please check with a physician for a proper diagnosis.

Bete, subah khali pet acidity badhne se ulti jaisa lagta hi hai. Aap raat ko halka khana khaya karo aur subah uth kar thoda gunguna pani piyein. Par agar roz ulti ho rahi hai toh ek baar doctor babu ko zaroor dikha lena.

My son used to wake up throwing up acid almost every school morning due to stress and poor eating habits. We stopped giving him heavy snacks late at night and took him to a pediatrician who prescribed a mild syrup. Do get a proper checkup for your peace of mind.

At my age, I have realized that morning acidity is often a reflection of how we spent the previous evening. Having an early dinner and avoiding spicy food stopped my morning vomiting completely. Take care of your health and don't hesitate to consult a doctor.
