Can a yeast infection cause pain in stomach?

I've been having some pain in my lower stomach area that feels a bit different than usual cramps. I've also been diagnosed with a yeast infection recently. Can a yeast infection cause pain in the stomach?

Usually, a yeast infection stays limited to itching and irritation, not stomach pain. Since I manage diabetes, I have to be very careful with my diet and gut health. If you are having stomach pain, it might be due to a urinary issue or gut imbalance, so please consult a doctor.

I had a severe yeast infection last year and also had mild stomach cramping. The doctor told me the yeast itself didn't cause the stomach pain, it was actually a UTI that came along with it. Drink lots of water, avoid sugary food, and get a urine test done.

Stomach pain usually points to indigestion, gas, or pelvic heat rather than a yeast infection. Practicing gentle pranayama and drinking warm water can help calm your digestive tract. But if the pain persists, please seek medical advice.

With my PCOS, I often get pelvic pain and gut issues, which can sometimes happen around the same time as a yeast infection. Because symptoms can overlap, I'd suggest not self-diagnosing. It is safer to let your gynecologist evaluate both the pain and the infection.

Let's be practical, if you have both a yeast infection and stomach pain, they might be unrelated or a sign of a bladder infection. Don't waste time waiting for it to go away. Just book a quick online doctor consultation and get the right medications.
