Yes, a severe UTI can cause microscopic or visible blood in the urine, but any bleeding during pregnancy is a critical issue that requires immediate attention. Don't worry about the cost of tests right now; a basic urine routine and ultrasound are quite affordable in government clinics or local labs and are absolutely necessary. Plan a visit to the gynecologist today itself.

If you are pregnant and experiencing any bleeding or spotting, even if you suspect it is just from a painful UTI, please do not wait! Open your healthcare app or log into your portal to book an emergency consultation with your OB-GYN right now. You need a proper clinical evaluation and safe pregnancy-friendly antibiotics immediately.

In our family, elders suggest drinking lots of coconut water and barley water for any burning sensation or UTI. However, bleeding during pregnancy is a very serious symptom and you should not rely on home remedies at all. Please visit your doctor immediately to get a professional diagnosis and safe treatment.

Oh sweetheart, please don't take any chances with bleeding during pregnancy. While a UTI can sometimes cause blood to appear in your urine because of irritation, it is very hard to tell if the bleeding is from the urinary tract or somewhere else. Please contact your doctor right away and get it checked for your and the baby's safety.

Beta, bleeding during pregnancy is not a small thing, so please do not sit at home or worry alone. Even if it is just a normal urine infection, it needs proper doctor's medicine quickly so it doesn't harm you or the little baby. Go to the hospital right now and let the doctor check everything nicely.

When I was pregnant with my second child, I had a severe UTI that caused mild spotting, and it scared us completely. We rushed to the hospital where the doctor gave me safe antibiotics and everything turned out fine. Please do not wait to see if it stops on its own; get checked by your gynecologist today for peace of mind.
