Can a sinus infection cause tooth pain?

Having a tough time with a sinus infection lately, I'm now getting this strange aching pain in my upper teeth, almost like a toothache. I'm confused if it's actually my teeth or related to my sinuses. Can a sinus infection genuinely cause pain in your teeth?

Yes, it definitely can. The roots of your upper teeth are very close to your sinuses, so when there is sinus pressure, it pushes down on them. Stay hydrated and let a doctor or dentist check it out to be sure.

Hello! Yes, the maxillary sinuses are located right above the upper tooth roots, which is why a sinus infection often presents as tooth pain. A course of treatment from your doctor to clear the sinus blockage will usually resolve the toothache.

Actually yaar, this happens to me every single winter! The pressure in the maxillary sinus pushes right onto your upper jaw, making it feel like a toothache. It's so annoying, but a quick visit to a doc usually clears things up.

Oh, having a toothache when you just want to eat some delicious food is the worst! Sinus pressure can definitely cause that nagging pain in your upper teeth. I'd say skip the hard-to-chew snacks for a bit and see a doctor soon.

Yes, sinus infections can cause referred pain in your upper molars due to shared nerve pathways. If you are busy, book a quick online consultation with a general physician first to confirm if it's sinus-related before visiting a dentist.

Please don't worry, this is actually a very common symptom because the sinus cavities lie right above our upper teeth. A simple checkup with your doctor or dentist will help you find the right relief very quickly.

Yes, the pressure from clogged sinuses can easily feel like a toothache. Eating warm, light soups with black pepper can help soothe your sinus passages naturally. However, please consult a dentist or physician to make sure there's no actual dental decay.

Yes! I tracked my symptoms on my health app last month and saw a clear link between my sinus congestion and upper jaw pain. The app suggested doing warm compresses, which helped, but a proper doctor's visit is always the best way to resolve it.

Beta, the sinuses sit right above your upper teeth, so any swelling there will cause pain in your mouth. Doing steam inhalation with warm water can help reduce the pressure. If it doesn't get better, please consult your doctor.

Beta, rinsing your mouth with warm saline water can help soothe the gums, but if a sinus infection is causing the toothache, you need proper medical treatment. Please visit a doctor to get the infection cleared up safely.
