Can a pulmonary embolism cause a heart attack?

My uncle recently had some serious breathing issues and someone mentioned pulmonary embolism. Now I'm reading about it and wondering, can such a condition directly lead to a heart attack? It sounds very scary.

Let's be very clear here, a pulmonary embolism is a medical emergency where a clot blocks blood flow in the lungs. While it is not the same as a classic heart attack, it puts massive stress on the heart and can cause severe complications. If you or someone else is facing chest pain or breathing issues, get to the nearest hospital immediately.

Hey, don't stress too much reading scary things online, but this is actually a serious medical topic. They are two different things, but a clot in the lungs can definitely strain the heart badly. If there's any chest discomfort or shortness of breath, please don't wait at home and go see a doctor right away, okay?

Having recovered from a pulmonary embolism myself, I can tell you the strain it puts on the right side of the heart is intense. It can mimic heart attack symptoms like heavy chest pain and breathlessness. Do not ignore these red flags for even a minute—rush to an emergency room.

I have seen many ups and downs with health in my lifetime. While they are technically different conditions, a block in the lung's blood vessels makes the heart work double-time, which is dangerous. In such situations, trusting a doctor immediately is the only wise choice.

Bro, google will literally make you feel like you are dying. But seriously, a clot in the lung is no joke and can cause severe pressure on the heart. If you are asking because someone is actually feeling chest pain right now, pls stop reading comments and take them to the ER.
