Can a prolapse be a sign of ovarian cancer?

I've been diagnosed with a pelvic organ prolapse recently, and it's been quite distressing. I've been reading online about it, and now I'm worried about potential links. Could a prolapse be a potential sign or symptom that one should watch out for with ovarian cancer, or am I overthinking this?

Whoa, hold on! Don't let your mind jump to the worst-case scenario. A prolapse is usually just your pelvic muscles getting lazy, not ovarian cancer. But since we aren't doctors, just go get an ultrasound done so you can stop worrying!

Beta, prolapse is very common as we age and our muscles get weak, it is rarely related to cancer. Eat nutritious food and avoid heavy lifting, but please do visit a lady doctor to get an internal checkup done for proper guidance.

A prolapse is a structural issue, basically muscle weakness in the pelvic floor. It is not a direct sign of ovarian cancer. Doing pelvic floor exercises like Kegels can help, but you must consult your doctor first to make sure there are no other issues.

Prolapse and ovarian cancer are generally two completely different conditions. Instead of spending hours reading confusing articles online, just book a quick 15-minute consultation with a gynecologist to get a clear answer.

Don't panic, they are very rarely connected. A prolapse is usually just pelvic floor weakness from aging or childbirth. Take a deep breath, book an appointment with a gynecologist, and let them examine you to clear all your doubts.
