Can a prolapse be a sign of cancer?

I recently noticed a bulging sensation down there and my doctor said it looks like a mild prolapse. I'm very concerned, as I immediately started thinking about more serious conditions. Can a prolapse, like a uterine or bladder prolapse, be a symptom or sign of cancer, or is it usually a standalone issue?

Normally a prolapse is just due to weak pelvic muscles, not cancer. But you should get a proper scan done at a government hospital or a standard diagnostic lab to be absolutely sure. Planning a simple ultrasound test is quite affordable and will give you peace of mind.

Haan na, usually prolapse is because of muscle weakness, not cancer, so don't take too much stress. But it is always better to get a proper checkup done by a gynecologist to rule out any other issues, ho na.

Usually, it is just pelvic muscle weakness, especially in women who have had children. There is no need to jump to conclusions about cancer. Just take an appointment with a good gynecologist and they will tell you if simple exercises or a minor procedure is needed.

A uterine or pelvic organ prolapse is generally a mechanical issue caused by childbirth or aging, but we cannot ignore any symptoms. For your own safety and peace of mind, please visit a doctor and get a thorough examination done.

In our family, elders say prolapse happens due to heavy lifting or aging, and they suggest resting. But my advice is to trust a qualified gynecologist. Go for a proper pelvic checkup so they can examine and guide you correctly.
