Can a person with latent tb pass it to others?

My colleague was diagnosed with latent TB, and he seems very worried about his family. He asked me if he could accidentally pass it on. I was wondering, can a person with latent TB spread the disease to other people around them?

No, they cannot pass it to others. But when my roommate told me she has latent TB, I got so anxious and started searching for symptoms online. Did anyone else get super paranoid about breathing the same air, even after knowing it is not contagious?

Nahi yaar, latent TB se infection dusro ko nahi failta, actually. Woh bacteria body ke andar soya hua hota hai na, toh coughing ya sneezing se spread hone ka darr nahi hai. Haan, par preventive dawa le lena chahiye taaki woh kabhi active na ho.

Hey, don't stress too much! Latent TB is super common and completely safe around others. You can't pass it to anyone, so no need to isolate yourself or skip hanging out. Just take your meds as prescribed and relax.

Relax, you are not a biohazard! Latent TB is like a sleeping volcano—it does nothing and harms no one unless it wakes up. You can't pass it to anyone, so go ahead and hug your family without any guilt.

It is emotionally draining when you get a TB-related diagnosis because of the social stigma in India. I felt so guilty and isolated myself, thinking I would harm others. Please know you are not a danger to anyone; latent TB cannot be passed on.

Technically it is 100% non-contagious. But if you are an overthinker like me, you might keep worrying 'what if it became active today without me realizing?' To keep your anxiety in check, just watch out for sudden weight loss or night sweats, and trust your doctor.

No, it doesn't spread, dear. While you should take the doctor's preventive medicines, also drink warm turmeric milk daily and eat fresh amla to boost your natural immunity so the bacteria never becomes active.

Bro, chill, latent TB is completely non-contagious. The bacteria is basically dormant, so you can't pass it on to anyone. It's not like active TB where you are coughing up germs. You can hang out with friends normally.

Nope, you can't spread it! Latent TB means the germs are asleep in your body, so they are not infectious at all. 😊 Just complete the doctor's preventive course so you stay healthy and happy!

I was diagnosed with latent TB during a visa medical last year. My doctor clearly explained that I couldn't pass it to my family. I took the prescribed medication for 3 months to clear it, and none of my family members ever caught anything.
