Can a person live without a thyroid gland?

My wife has been having thyroid problems for a long time, and we're exploring all treatment options. If it comes to it, is it truly possible for a person to live a healthy life without a thyroid gland at all?

Yes, you can live without a thyroid gland quite easily. I tried many herbal teas and home diets when my sister had thyroid nodules, but ultimately, removing it and starting daily hormone pills was the only real solution. Just stay regular with your medical dosage.

Haan bilkul, log aaram se jeete hain bina thyroid gland ke, bas daily subah ek choti tablet khani padti hai na. Tension lene ki bilkul baat nahi hai. Ek baar achhe se doctor se baat karlo aur routine set karlo.

Yes, you can live without it, but you must be super disciplined. I once ignored my severe fatigue symptoms thinking it was just work exhaustion, which messed up my health big time. Please get your thyroid levels checked regularly and never skip doctor appointments.

Yes, we can live a normal life without a thyroid. My mother-in-law had hers removed, and while our elders suggested some herbal remedies, we strictly followed our endocrinologist's advice for daily hormone replacement. Trust your doctor's treatment.

Yes, you can. Financially, thyroid hormone pills are very cheap and cost less than 200 rupees a month. You just need to keep a budget of around 300 rupees every few months for a TSH blood test to make sure your dosage is correct.

I had my thyroid gland removed almost twenty-five years ago due to swelling. I have lived a full, healthy life, raised my kids, and never faced any major issue. Just be disciplined with your morning dose and stay happy.

Yes, you can live without a thyroid gland. Dealing with my PCOS taught me that hormonal health requires patience and regular checkups. I am not an expert, but staying in touch with a good doctor to monitor your thyroid medication is highly recommended.

Yes, living without a thyroid gland is very common. The body's metabolism is managed by taking synthetic thyroxine tablets daily. Just make sure to take your tablet on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before your morning tea or breakfast.

Yes, you can live without it with the help of daily hormone therapy. In my practice, I have seen that regular practice of soft pranayama and yoga asanas helps keep the body's hormonal system calm and balanced. Take your medicine and keep your mind peaceful.

Yes, you can, but do any of you also feel super anxious about sudden weight fluctuations or mood swings after a thyroidectomy? I am taking my pills daily but still get so paranoid if I feel a bit tired. Would love to know if others feel this way too.

Bina thyroid gland ke aaram se jee sakte hain, haan na. Meri padosi ka operation hua tha do saal pehle, wo abhi bilkul mast hai aur sab kaam karti hai. Bas roz subah uthte hi ek tablet kha lena padta hai.
