Can a nasal endoscopy detect throat cancer?

I've been having a persistent sore throat and some difficulty swallowing for a few weeks, which is quite concerning. My ENT doctor suggested a nasal endoscopy. I'm wondering, can a nasal endoscopy actually detect if there's throat cancer?

I have been having this persistent sore throat and I am so scared. My doctor suggested a nasal endoscopy to check, but I'm wondering if it can really see all the way down to find serious things like throat cancer? Did anyone else feel really nervous before this test?

Just like keeping an eye on thyroid nodules with regular ultrasounds, throat issues need proper visualization. A nasal endoscopy is great because it lets the ENT doctor see your upper throat and vocal cords clearly. Definitely follow up with your doctor and get the test done to be absolutely sure.

I totally get it, worrying about cancer is incredibly stressful and exhausting. A nasal endoscopy uses a very flexible tube that goes through your nose and can look right down into your throat and voice box to find any unusual growths. It is a very quick and standard way for doctors to check.

You should not ignore any persistent throat symptoms at all. A nasal endoscopy is a safe, quick OPD procedure that helps the doctor check your larynx and pharynx for any suspicious changes. Please get it scheduled immediately to rule out any risks.

My father always says that getting timely medical tests saves a lot of worry later. Yes, an ENT specialist can use a nasal endoscope to view the throat area and check for any abnormal tissues or growths. Trust your doctor and go ahead with the procedure calmly.

I completely understand the anxiety and sleepless nights you might be having right now; health scares are the worst. When I had my endoscopy, it was much faster than I expected, and it gave my doctor a clear view of my entire throat. It really helps clear up doubts instantly.
