Can a migraine make you throw up multiple times?

Every time I get a bad migraine, I end up throwing up, sometimes multiple times. It's really debilitating. Is it common for a migraine to cause such severe vomiting, or should I be worried about this frequency?

Yeah bro, totally. During my semester exams, my migraine got so bad that I threw up like three times in a single morning. It's honestly the worst feeling ever, so please take care and see a doctor if it doesn't stop.

Yes, frequent vomiting is a common part of severe migraine attacks. If it's affecting your daily schedule and keeping you from working, don't just wait it out. Book an appointment with a general physician or neurologist immediately.

I completely panicked the first time I threw up multiple times with a headache, thinking I had severe food poisoning! But my doctor reassured me it's just a classic migraine symptom. It's normal but definitely needs proper doctor-prescribed meds to control.

Yes, child, vomiting multiple times can happen due to the heavy headache. Sipping a little warm water with lemon might soothe the stomach slightly. However, since you are losing fluids, please consult a medical doctor to prevent dehydration.

Yes, it can. Throwing up repeatedly while your head is pounding is so emotionally and physically draining, and it used to make me cry from sheer exhaustion. Please know you are not alone, and do visit a doctor for help.

Yes, it can happen. My grandmother always tells me to drink ginger tea to calm my stomach during these times, but I always trust my doctor's advice and take the prescribed anti-vomiting tablet when it gets too severe.

Yes, it does. With my thyroid issues, hormonal changes trigger intense migraines that lead to severe vomiting. I highly recommend regular blood tests and a proper follow-up with your doctor to manage these combined symptoms.
