Can a man get a migraine?

My boyfriend has been getting these really bad, throbbing headaches with sensitivity to light lately. I always thought migraines were more common in women, so I'm wondering if men can also experience them with such intensity?

Haan yaar, men absolutely get migraines. My colleague gets such bad attacks that he has to sit in a dark room for hours, actually. It is not just a women's health issue, anyone can get hit by it.

Yes, men definitely get them too! I was researching this online because my brother gets these severe, throbbing headaches on one side with nausea. It is apparently quite common, though women are diagnosed more often.

Yes, men suffer from migraines too. Along with any medication your doctor prescribes, doing gentle pranayama like Anulom Vilom daily can help soothe the nervous system and reduce the frequency of these headaches over time.

They absolutely do, and it can be so scary when it happens out of nowhere because you start overthinking what else could be wrong. Please make sure he gets his eyes checked and maintains a proper sleep schedule to rule out easy triggers.

I totally get it, dealing with that intense throbbing pain is absolutely exhausting. Men definitely suffer from migraines, and it is really hard to function when an attack hits. I hope you find some relief soon.
