Can a kidney infection go away on its own?

Feeling unwell for a couple of days now, with a slight fever and some pain while peeing. My neighbor told me these things often resolve themselves. Is it possible for a kidney infection to just clear up by itself without any medicine?

Honestly, I am so scared about this too. Has anyone ever actually had a kidney infection that just went away without medicines? I feel a dull ache and really want to avoid going to the clinic if possible, but everything I read says it is dangerous to wait. Did anyone else manage to cure it just by drinking gallons of water?

Haan na, starting antibiotics feels like such a chore, but kidney infection khud se thik nahi hota. If we ignore it, the infection can spread to the blood and become a major problem. Thoda quickly doctor ko dikha lo, normal urine report se hi clear ho jayega. Please don't take any risk with your health.

It definitely won't go away on its own, and delaying it will only cost you more in emergency bills later. A simple urine routine test costs barely 150 to 200 rupees at local labs, and a basic doctor consultation is quite reasonable. It's much better to spend on a quick checkup and a cheap course of antibiotics now than risking hospitalization.

No, a kidney infection will not go away on its own because it is a bacterial infection. Trying to cure it with just home remedies like barley water or coconut water is not safe. You must go to a doctor, get a urine test done, and take the full course of antibiotics they prescribe to avoid any permanent kidney damage.

As a parent, I can tell you that you should never wait out a kidney infection. My daughter had a high fever from a urinary tract infection that reached her kidneys, and the doctor told us it could have been very dangerous if we delayed starting antibiotics. Please don't wait for it to clear on its own, see a pediatrician or general doctor immediately.

I totally get it, nobody wants to rush to the doctor and start heavy medications if they can avoid it. But please be very careful with this. Kidney infections are quite serious and usually require proper medical treatment to clear up safely. Ignoring it can make you very sick, so please get it checked out for your own peace of mind.
