Can a heart attack hurt on the right side?

My friend recently had a heart scare, and she said her pain was mostly on her right side, which surprised me. I always thought heart attack pain was only on the left side or in the center of the chest. Can a heart attack actually cause pain or discomfort on the right side of the body?

Yes, pain from the heart can manifest in unexpected ways, including on the right side of the chest or arm. Please keep your mind calm and stay positive, but do not ignore these signs. It is best to let a doctor evaluate you immediately to ensure your physical well-being.

I always thought heart attacks only hurt on the left side, so this is very surprising to hear. Can right-sided pain really be linked to the heart? It makes me a bit anxious, so I would really like to know what kind of tests a doctor would do to check this.

I was actually researching this online, and yes, heart attack pain can absolutely radiate to the right side of the chest, right arm, or even the jaw. The nerves are all connected, so the brain can get confused about where the pain is originating. It is always safer to get it checked by a professional.

Yes, heart attack pain is not strictly limited to the left side and can definitely be felt on the right side of the chest or arm. Don't waste time trying to analyze the exact location of the pain yourself. Go straight to a clinic or ER and get an ECG done to rule out any cardiac issues quickly.

I once ignored sharp pain on the right side of my chest thinking it was just a muscle strain from the gym, and it turned out to be a warning sign of a cardiovascular issue. I almost paid a heavy price for that delay. Please do not take any chest pain lightly, get a proper medical checkup done today.

Yes, absolutely. In clinical practice, we often see patients presenting with right-sided chest pain, back pain, or even indigestion symptoms during a heart attack. Don't assume it's just a muscle pull because it's on the right. Please consult a doctor immediately for a proper evaluation.
