Can a headache cause fever?

Been feeling under the weather since morning, with a slight headache. My mother told me to check for fever because she thinks headaches always come with fever. I don't feel hot, but I wanted to ask if a headache itself can cause a fever.

Beta, usually it is the other way around; a fever caused by some infection or cold is what brings on a heavy headache. Drink warm tulsi and black pepper tea, and place a damp, cool cloth on your forehead to comfort yourself. But if your fever is very high or you have a stiff neck, do not wait at home and see a doctor immediately.

Honestly, with my sleep schedule, my body is always confused about whether it has a fever or just a massive fatigue headache. But seriously, a headache alone doesn't typically cook up a fever. If you are actually running a temperature, your body is probably fighting off some bug, so get some proper rest and pop a thermometer in your mouth.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! It's super common to get a headache when your body temperature starts rising because of a mild viral bug or seasonal flu. Take some rest, drink lots of coconut water, and if the fever doesn't come down in a day or two, just consult a doctor.

Please do not take a headache with a fever lightly. I once ignored a severe headache and mild fever thinking it was just sunstroke, and it turned out to be a serious infection that landed me in the hospital for a week. Get yourself checked by a doctor today to rule out anything serious.

When my thyroid levels are completely off, my immunity drops and I easily catch infections that start with a bad headache and fever. Don't ignore these combined symptoms if they keep coming back. Go to a general physician, get your basic blood panels done, and find out the root cause.
