Can a head injury cause a stroke years later?

Many years ago, I had a pretty bad head injury from a bike accident. Recently, I heard something alarming about old head injuries possibly increasing the risk of a stroke much later in life. Is it possible for a head injury to cause a stroke even years down the line?

Man, reading this just unlocked a new fear for me while I'm struggling to keep my eyes open. Apparently, old head injuries can increase the risk of vascular issues down the line. I need a coffee, but seriously, get a checkup if you have old injuries.

Hey, don't stress too much about things that happened years ago, okay? While there is some connection, it doesn't mean it will definitely happen. Just live a healthy lifestyle and mention it to your doctor during your next routine checkup for peace of mind.

I ignored a minor head injury from an accident years ago and later faced severe neurological issues that could have been avoided. Please do not make the same mistake. If you have a history of head trauma, get regular checkups and consult a neurologist.

Yes, studies suggest that traumatic brain injuries can elevate the long-term risk of stroke even years later. It is highly recommended to monitor your cardiovascular health regularly.

Haan na, it actually can. Purani chot can sometimes affect the blood flow in the brain even after many years. It is better to talk to a doctor once and keep your BP in check, tense mat lo.

Yes, research shows that past brain trauma can damage blood vessels, potentially raising stroke risk years later. To combat long-term risks, focus on keeping your blood pressure and cardiovascular fitness in top shape with regular cardio and a clean diet.

It can increase the risk, but don't panic and book expensive MRI scans on your own. Go to a government hospital or a reliable local physician first; they can evaluate your risk factors and suggest only the necessary tests, keeping it practical and affordable.
