Can a gallbladder attack cause vomiting and diarrhea?

Last month, I had a terrible gallbladder attack, and besides the pain, I also experienced severe vomiting and diarrhea. I'm trying to understand if these digestive issues are actually part of a typical attack.

Since I manage diabetes, I know how easily digestive issues like gallbladder attacks can throw off your blood sugar and cause vomiting. You must avoid oily food completely. Please consult a doctor immediately for a proper checkup, as self-managing this is not safe.

Yes, a gallbladder attack can definitely cause severe nausea, vomiting, and even diarrhea because it messes up your digestion! 😣 It is a very painful experience. Please don't wait at home if the pain is intense, and see a doctor right away! 🌸

Yes, vomiting and loose stools are very common symptoms when the gallbladder is inflamed or blocked by stones. Please be careful, as severe attacks can lead to complications. I highly recommend visiting a gastroenterologist immediately to get an ultrasound done.

My mother went through a gallbladder attack last year, and she was throwing up and had loose motions because of the intense pain. It is such an exhausting experience to watch. Please make sure to get a doctor's advice and an ultrasound as soon as possible.

Yes, when a gallstone blocks the bile duct, it severely disrupts fat digestion, leading to nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. If you are experiencing these along with sharp pain in the upper right abdomen, please don't ignore it. Go to a clinic or hospital for an evaluation.
