Can a full blood count detect ovarian cancer?

My aunt was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, which has made me quite concerned about my own health. I've heard about full blood counts; I'm wondering if they can detect this specific type of cancer too.

A full blood count (FBC) is a basic test that checks your overall health and levels like hemoglobin, but it cannot specifically detect ovarian cancer. Maintaining a clean, plant-based diet helps the body, but it cannot replace specialized tests. Please consult a doctor for proper diagnostic screenings.

I was also looking into this recently for a family member. A simple blood count won't show ovarian cancer, although it might show signs of anemia if there is internal bleeding. You usually need specific tests like a CA-125 blood test or a pelvic ultrasound. Please do see a gynecologist.

Hey, don't stress too much about the blood report. A regular blood count is just for general health and won't really spot ovarian cancer. If you have any unusual symptoms, just talk to a doctor and they will tell you exactly what specific scans to get done. Take care!

My doctor clearly explained that a complete blood count is not a screening tool for ovarian cancer. While it checks white and red blood cells, diagnosing ovarian issues requires specialized imaging like a transvaginal ultrasound or a CA-125 tumor marker test. Please consult an oncologist or gynecologist for a proper evaluation.

No, a full blood count cannot diagnose ovarian cancer on its own. It only gives a general picture of your blood cells. Please visit a specialist doctor who can guide you with the right scans and specific tests for an accurate checkup.

Normal blood report se ye sab pata nahi chalta, haan na. Ovarian cancer ke liye doctor doosre tests aur scans bolte hain. Don't worry unnecessarily, just visit a good gynecologist and get a proper checkup done.
