Can a fever blister make you sick?

Every time I get a fever blister, I feel very tired and generally unwell, almost like I have a cold. I'm wondering if a fever blister can actually make you sick, or if it's just my imagination. Does it affect the whole body?

Haan na, it can actually make you feel quite sick and tired. When the blister is about to come, sometimes you get a mild body ache and a heavy head. Just take some warm turmeric milk and rest, things will get better in two-three days.

Honestly, the first time I got a massive fever blister, I felt physically so exhausted and emotionally drained because it looked so prominent on my face. It really does make you feel completely sick and low. Just give yourself some grace and let your body heal.

Yes, a fever blister is caused by a virus which can temporarily weaken your system, making you feel fatigued or feverish. Since I manage hypertension, I make sure to avoid stress during such times and get my regular checkups done. Don't ignore it if you feel very weak.

I totally get it, a cold sore is not just an annoying spot, it genuinely makes your whole body feel sluggish and out of energy. The viral load can give you mild flu-like symptoms. Take plenty of rest and don't push yourself too hard right now.

Oh, definitely! Every time I get one, I feel super lazy, run-down, and sometimes even get a slight scratchy throat. It is basically your immune system working overtime. Just drink lots of liquids, put some soothing lip balm, and sleep early.
