Can a diabetic use a heated blanket?

It gets quite cold here in winters, and I was thinking of buying a heated blanket. Since I have diabetes, my son warned me about using heating products. Is it safe for a diabetic person like me to use a heated blanket?

I totally get it, those cold winter nights make you just want to cozy up under a heated blanket. But please be super careful if you have diabetic neuropathy. Your skin might not sense extreme heat properly, so it's safer to pre-warm the bed and turn it off before sleeping.

Bro, eating high-carb paranthas in winter is great, but watch out with heated blankets if you have diabetes. Sometimes nerve damage means you won't feel if it's getting too hot and you can get skin burns. Keep the temp very low or just stick to a regular heavy rajai.

Using electronic blankets is risky for sugar patients because of poor circulation in the feet. Better to use a traditional copper hot water bottle with a thick cover, or wear thick woollen socks ghar pe. If you ever notice any red spots or numbness on your legs, please show a doctor immediately.

I asked my endocrinologist at Max Hospital about this last winter for my mother. He strictly advised against sleeping with a heated blanket turned on because of the risk of silent burns. Please consult your own doctor clearly about your nerve health before using one.

I have type 1 diabetes and my feet get freezing cold in winter. I wanted to buy a heated blanket but my doctor said absolutely not because we might not feel the burn. Now I just use regular thick blankets and room heaters instead, much safer.

Keep your mind peaceful and take gentle care of your body, it is your temple. Heated blankets can sometimes be too harsh on delicate diabetic skin. Try light warming pranayama or warm clothing to keep cozy naturally. Blessings for your good health.

Humare yahan to heated blanket nahi use karte. High sugar patients ki skin bahut sensitive hoti hai, jalne ka darr rehta hai. Aap badhiya garm kapde pehno aur pairon me mote socks daal lo, sabse safe aur achha tarika hai.
