Can a diabetic eat grapes everyday?

I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and am trying to control my diet. I really like eating grapes, especially in the morning. Is it fine if I have a small bowl of them daily, or should I limit it?

Grapes have a lot of natural sugar, so eating them daily might not be the best idea. I go to Kokilaben Hospital for my checkups, and my doctor clearly told me to limit high-sugar fruits. Please ask your own physician or endocrinologist before making it a daily habit.

Look, grapes have a relatively high glycemic index compared to berries or apples. Eating them everyday can cause sudden spikes in your blood glucose levels. If you love them, keep it to just 4-5 pieces occasionally instead of a whole bowl daily, and always monitor your levels.

Haan na, grapes are so sweet and hard to resist once you start eating them! But daily eating might trouble your sugar levels, honestly. Mere doc ne toh bola tha thoda control rakhne ko fruits par. Better to stick to guava or papaya mostly, ho na?

It is honestly so exhausting to doubt every single fruit before taking a bite, I totally feel you. I used to panic thinking even one grape would ruin my reports. Don't stress too much, just have a chat with your doctor about how to safely include fruits in your diet.

I completely understand your concern. Grapes are really high in sugar, so it is better to be safe and avoid having them on a daily basis.

Grapes are super tasty but they are like tiny sugar bombs for diabetics! 🍇 Daily might be risky, but maybe you can swap them for strawberries or jamun. Definitely check with your dietician to see what works best for your body! 😊
