Can a dermatologist help with dandruff?

I've been dealing with really persistent dandruff for ages now, and none of the special shampoos or home remedies seem to work. It's becoming embarrassing. Can a dermatologist actually help with stubborn dandruff, or is it just a cosmetic issue?

Bro, absolutely! A dermatologist is literally the best person to see for dandruff. Don't stress too much about it, they will give you a proper medicated shampoo and it will clear up in no time.

Yes, they definitely can. Dandruff is often caused by a yeast-like fungus or seborrheic dermatitis, and over-the-counter shampoos don't always cut it. Skip the parlor treatments and just book a dermatologist consultation.

Yes, they can help. Dandruff can sometimes flare up due to sweat after workouts, so a skin specialist can prescribe the right anti-fungal lotion. Just make sure to wash your hair after heavy exercise sessions.

Haan na, dermatologist ke paas jana hi best option hai. Hum ghar pe dahi aur neem lagate rehte hain but medicated lotion se jaldi asar hota hai. Ek baar dikha lo unko.

Yes, they can. Because of my PCOS, I deal with scalp issues too, and trying random home remedies sometimes made it worse. A dermatologist can identify if it's hormonal or fungal and give proper treatment.

Listen, yes, stop wasting money on expensive cosmetic hair spas. Dandruff is a scalp condition, and a dermatologist will prescribe proper ketoconazole shampoos that actually work. Go see one.
