Can a chiropractor help with si joint pain?

For the past few months, my lower back and hip area have been really sore, especially when I stand up after sitting. The doctor thinks it's SI joint pain. My friend had great results with a chiropractor for her back, so I'm wondering if they can help with SI joint pain too.

I tried warm mustard oil massages and hot packs for my SI joint pain for weeks. While those gave short-term comfort, a chiropractor actually helped realign my pelvis, which reduced the constant ache. Combined with gentle pelvic tilts, it works wonders.

I have been hearing a lot about SI joint pain lately. Is chiropractic treatment safe for young people too? I am a bit scared of the cracking sounds they make in videos, does it hurt a lot during the session?

Don't make the mistake of ignoring SI joint pain or just trying random stretches. I ignored my hip pain for months thinking it was normal stiffness, and it got so bad I couldn't drive. Get a proper medical diagnosis before starting any therapy.

Chiropractic care can bring temporary alignment to the sacroiliac joint, but true relief comes from strengthening the surrounding muscles. Practicing gentle yoga asanas like Bhujangasana and keeping your core strong will ensure the pain doesn't return.

For mild SI joint discomfort, a simple heating pad and resting from heavy lifting helps a lot. Chiropractic adjustments are good, but if you have severe pain while walking or standing up, please see an orthopedic doctor to check for inflammation.
