Can a chiropractor help with lower back pain?

My lower back has been constantly aching from sitting at my desk all day, and no amount of stretching seems to help much. A colleague suggested trying a chiropractor for it. Do they actually help with lower back pain?

Before you let anyone manipulate your lower back, you must get an MRI or X-ray. If your pain is due to a herniated disc, aggressive chiropractic adjustments can pinch your nerves further and cause severe damage. Please consult an orthopedic specialist first.

Lower back pain is so common these days due to long sitting hours. A chiropractor can help realign the spine and give quick relief, but you must pair it with daily back-strengthening exercises. Otherwise, the pain will keep coming back.

At my age, my back cracks on its own just when I sneeze! A chiropractor might straighten you out temporarily, but the real culprit is our comfortable sofas and lack of exercise. Try walking more and sitting less, your back will thank you.

My lower back has been hurting so much when I sit, and I'm really nervous about getting those spinal cracks done. Did anyone else feel scared before their session, and did it actually help you or make it more painful?

Chronic issues like thyroid can sometimes cause muscle weakness and back aches. Before going to a chiropractor, make sure your regular blood reports are fine and consult your physician. It's always best to have a complete medical picture first.

I totally get it, lower back pain is absolutely exhausting and ruins your entire day. A chiropractor can definitely help release the tension in your lower back muscles, but make sure to go to a highly rated, certified professional. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, they can help relieve the pressure, but please ensure they are licensed and don't do any high-force adjustments without seeing your scans first.
