Can a 7mm kidney stone dissolve?

My doctor told me I have a 7mm kidney stone, and I've been having some pain. He suggested some medication, but I was also wondering if stones of this size can sometimes dissolve on their own with proper hydration or home remedies?

I was actually researching this yesterday because my uncle got diagnosed. From what I read, 7mm is slightly on the larger side to pass naturally, but some people manage it with lots of fluids. It's really interesting how much water can do.

7mm is like a small piece of spicy chana! Dissolving it completely might be tough, but you can definitely flush it out if you drink water like your life depends on it. Get ready to live in the washroom for a few days!

Humare yahan toh log patharchatta ke patte chabate hain aur khub saara nariyal pani peete hain. 7mm ka pathri nikal jata hai mehnat se. Aap chinta mat kijiye, bas pani peete rahiye.

Along with trying to pass the stone, please keep an eye on your blood pressure. Severe pain from kidney stones can spike your BP suddenly. Keep drinking water, cut down on salt, and get regular checkups done.

At 7mm, it might get stuck, so don't rely only on home remedies. Take a day off, get a proper urologist consultation, and get an ultrasound. If it needs a minor procedure, better to get it over with quickly.

I hope the pain isn't too bad right now. Just rest well, keep drinking warm water, and let your doctor guide you. Praying you recover very soon.
