Cómo se transmite la hepatitis a?

There have been some cases of Hepatitis A reported in our locality recently, and I'm quite concerned about it. Can someone please explain clearly how Hepatitis A is transmitted so I can take proper preventive measures for my family and myself?

Hepatitis A is transmitted via the fecal-oral route. My physician explained that it happens when you ingest food or water contaminated by microscopic amounts of fecal matter from an infected person. Proper sanitation and washing hands are critical.

I always get so worried during monsoon because Hepatitis A spreads so easily through contaminated water. Even raw salads at restaurants can carry it if washed in bad water. Please carry your own water bottles and eat only hot food outside.

It spreads through bad food and dirty water. If someone in the family has symptoms like jaundice, get a Hepatitis A IgM antibody test, which costs around 600-800 rupees in most local labs. Getting the vaccine is also quite affordable and saves treatment costs.

It is mainly transmitted when we eat or drink something contaminated. Let us pray for everyone's good health, keep our surroundings clean, wash our hands with gratitude before eating, and let the body heal naturally with simple, pure food.

Hepatitis A transmission is primarily through contaminated food and water supplies. While public hygiene plays a major role, personal hygiene and vaccination are key. If you suspect exposure, consulting a doctor for an immunization plan is highly recommended.

Just like keeping blood pressure in check, preventing Hepatitis A requires a disciplined lifestyle. It spreads through unhygienic water and food, so avoid street stalls. Make sure to get regular annual blood checkups to monitor your overall liver health.
