Are you supposed to sleep with a bra on?

My friends always debate about whether to wear a bra while sleeping or not. Some say it helps prevent sagging, others say it's uncomfortable and unhealthy for blood circulation. Kya sahi hai? Should I be sleeping with a bra on?

No, there is no medical need to wear one to sleep. It is entirely up to what makes you feel comfortable.

Beta, there is no hard rule about this. Most doctors suggest sleeping without one to let your skin breathe and avoid any restriction on your blood circulation. If you prefer support, just wear a loose, non-wired cotton slip.

My grandmother used to say we should always wear one for shape, but when I asked my gynecologist, she laughed and said it's a total myth. She advised that sleeping without one is much better for lymphatic circulation and general comfort.

Agreed, it is mostly a matter of personal comfort. Going bra-free at night is generally recommended to avoid skin irritation and constriction.

Oh God, the first thing I do when I get home is get rid of that underwire! I cannot even imagine sleeping in one; it sounds like a torture device. Keep it comfortable and let your body relax at night.

Honestly, it's just a personal choice and doesn't cause any health issues either way. If you wear one, just make sure it's wireless and breathable so you don't restrict your movement or wake up with sweat rashes.
