Are walnuts good for diabetics type 2?

My father has been a Type 2 diabetic for many years, and we are always looking for food items that can help manage his condition. I came across some information suggesting walnuts are beneficial. Are they really good for Type 2 diabetics, and if so, how much is advisable?

When I was first diagnosed with Type 2, I felt so lost and scared to eat anything at all. Finding out that I could safely eat walnuts as a snack was such a relief, they really helped me manage my cravings.

They actually look like little brains because they are smart enough not to spike your insulin! Swap your evening samosa for a few walnuts and your medical reports will thank you.

Yes, they are highly beneficial for Type 2 patients because they improve heart health and manage cholesterol, which is very important for us. Try to have 2-3 soaked halves daily.

I totally get it, managing Type 2 diabetes can be so stressful with all the food restrictions. Walnuts are a great, safe option because they have healthy fats that don't harm your blood sugar levels.

My young daughter has high blood sugar issues, and we always keep walnuts in her tiffin. It is a very safe and healthy snack that keeps her energetic without any sudden sugar spikes.

I have lived with Type 2 diabetes for over twenty years now. Trust me, simple natural nuts like walnuts are the best companions for your health. Just keep your portions small and walk daily.
