Are vitamins hard on the liver and kidneys?

My family doctor recently suggested I take a vitamin D supplement. I'm also taking B12. I'm concerned if taking multiple vitamins might put a strain on my liver and kidneys, as I've heard such things before.

Actually I was wondering the same thing because my lower back started hurting after starting some heavy multivitamin tablets. Did anyone else feel any weird kidney pressure or is it just my anxiety playing tricks?

They are usually safe if you take them in normal amounts. Try not to stress too much about it, just follow your doctor's advice on dosage.

Water-soluble vitamins like B and C just flush out in urine, but fat-soluble ones like A, D, E, K stay in the system. I track my micronutrients on my health app to make sure I don't cross the upper limit. Keep an eye on the daily values.

Listen boss, if you buy random supplements online and pop them like peanuts, your kidneys will obviously suffer. Take only what you are deficient in. Go get a basic blood test done first.

Haan na, too many pills definitely put load on the body. My kaka also started taking high dose calcium blindly and got issues. It's always better to ask a doc first, ho na.
