Are vitamins bad for your liver?

A friend recommended I start taking some multivitamins for general health. But then I heard from someone else that too many vitamins can be bad for your liver. Is there any truth to this?

Actually, it depends on the dosage. My fitness tracker app has a nutrition log and I noticed fat-soluble ones like Vitamin A and D can build up if u take too much. Better to track your daily intake and not overdo multivitamins.

Agreed, too much of anything is bad. It is always safest to do a blood test first to check if you even need those supplements.

Normally they are super safe and help you stay energetic! 🌟 Just remember to drink plenty of water so your system keeps flushing everything out nicely. Eat healthy!

Unless you are eating vitamin gummies like potato chips, your liver is going to be fine! Just don't treat those bottles like candy, follow the doc's prescription and chill.

I can't say about everyone, but I had high liver enzymes last year when I was self-prescribing heavy doses of Vitamin A. Once I stopped, my levels went back to normal, so I only take what my doctor writes now.

Beta, in our days we got all vitamins from seasonal fruits and milk. Modern capsules are okay if a doctor tells you, but don't load your body with unnecessary pills. Nature has everything you need.
