Are viruses contagious without a fever?

My colleague has a bad cold and cough, but no fever. He's still coming to office. I'm wondering if it's possible to catch a viral infection from someone even if they don't have a high temperature. Want to be careful, na.

Haan na, completely possible. My doctor told me virus spreads even if u don't have fever. Just a simple cold or sneeze is enough, so ho na, stay careful around others!

In my sixty years, I have seen so many people spreading flu in the house without even having a warm forehead. Don't worry too much, just keep distance and let the body rest. It will pass like it always does.

Honestly, getting those full virus panel tests costs almost 3k to 4k these days, totally useless. It is much better to isolate yourself at home for 3 days and save that money. Fever or no fever, prevention is free.

Haha yes, viruses don't wait for your body temperature to touch 100 before they attack your family! They are like uninvited relatives, they just walk in without any signal. Keep a mask handy unless you want everyone sneezing in chorus.

I actually didn't know this could happen, I always thought fever was the main sign. Is it still contagious even if we feel completely fine and only have a mild sore throat? Sorry if it's a silly question.
