Are u born with asthma?

My doctor told me I have asthma, which was quite a surprise as I never had breathing issues as a kid. So, I was wondering, is asthma something you're generally born with or can it develop later in life?

Honestly, health issues are so complicated and can pop up anytime. Like my thyroid was totally fine and suddenly diagnostic tests showed a huge spike. It is best to visit a pulmonologist and get a proper diagnosis rather than guessing. Regular checkups and keeping track of symptoms is the only way to stay safe.

Don't panic, I also thought I was born with some permanent lung issue when I got heavy breathing problems last year. I was so scared but doctor said it was just a temporary allergy because of pollution. Turns out asthma can develop later in life too or just be a temporary phase. Get it checked, it is very manageable.

Mere ghar pe black pepper and honey mixture is used for congestion, but honestly, real asthma needs proper care. You might not be born with it, sometimes cold weather or pollution triggers it later in life. Keep your room clean and dust-free, and definitely consult a doctor for a proper inhaler.

Actually, some people have a genetic tendency from birth, but many develop it much later due to dust, allergies, or infections. Best is to avoid strong perfumes and dusty carpets at home right now. Keep an inhaler handy if a doctor has already prescribed one, and do some basic breathing exercises.

Just like my high BP, these things can come up later due to lifestyle and environment, not just by birth. You should monitor your breathing daily and get a spirometry test done if the doctor suggests. Regular walk and clean air helps a lot to keep the lungs healthy.

Take it easy, it is not always from birth. My cousin got diagnosed at age twenty and he is doing perfectly fine now with standard treatment. Just follow your doctor's advice and take care.
