Are thc gummies or drinks worse on liver?

A friend was saying that THC-infused drinks are better than gummies, or maybe it was the other way around for the liver. I'm a bit confused, actually. Which one generally has a worse impact on the liver, if any?

At my age, even a strong cup of masala chai feels like it is testing my liver, let alone these modern gummies and drinks! Jokes apart, both have to be processed by your liver eventually. The drinks might absorb a bit faster, but honestly, both are going to give your liver some extra work to do, so better to go easy.

My son was comparing these two because some of his friends prefer seltzers and others like gummies. As a parent, I told him that anything chemical you swallow has to go through the liver first. Drinks often have added sugars and fast absorption, which can be just as taxing as heavy gummies. Please take care and avoid both if you can.

I had a liver scare last year with elevated enzymes, and my doctor made me stop all supplements, edibles, and even over-the-counter painkillers. Drinks and gummies both put a load on your system, and you won't even know it till you get a blood test. Please don't take chances and get your liver function tested by a proper doctor.

I usually visit Apollo Hospital for any health concerns because I don't trust internet debates on these topics. My physician there clearly told me that edible forms of THC have unpredictable metabolism rates which can stress the liver differently in different people. You should consult a proper doctor who knows your health history instead of guessing which one is worse.

I don't know much about these products, but I am curious to learn. Does the liquid form in drinks make it easier for the liver to process, or is it worse because it gets absorbed so quickly? I would love to know if anyone has noticed any difference in how they feel after having either.
