Are some people more prone to cavities?

I brush and floss regularly, but it feels like I always get cavities every time I visit the dentist. My friend told me some people just have weaker teeth. Is there really a genetic factor or something that makes certain people more prone to getting cavities?

Haan, bilkul sahi baat hai. Some people have naturally weaker enamel ya unke saliva ka composition alag hota hai. Mere dost ko dekh lo, din me do baar brush karta hai fir bhi cavity ho hi jaati hai na.

I completely understand how frustrating it is when you take care of your teeth and still get cavities while others eat sweets freely. Genetics, dry mouth, and even the shape of your teeth play a huge role, so please don't blame yourself.

Humare gaon me bhi kuch logo ke daant jaldi kharab ho jate hain aur kuch ke budhape tak mazboot rehte hain. Paani me jo minerals hote hain unka bhi asar padta hai. Daant saaf rakhein aur raat ko sone se pehle kulla zaroor karein.

Honestly, I inherited my mom's soft teeth and have had 4 fillings already. My dentist told me some people just have deeper grooves in their molars where food gets stuck easily. Regular flossing and mouthwash really saved me.

I can only share what my dentist told me last month. He said my saliva is on the acidic side which makes me more prone to decay despite brushing regularly. Drinking lots of water throughout the day has helped me keep my mouth less acidic.
