Are saltine crackers good for vomiting?

My little one, Riya, has been having a tough time with vomiting today, and my mother-in-law suggested giving her some plain saltine crackers. I'm wondering if this is actually a good idea to help settle her stomach.

They are very dry and help absorb stomach acid, which can calm nausea. But if you are vomiting continuously and cannot keep any water down, please go to a clinic immediately instead of waiting at home.

Oh, they really helped me when I had food poisoning last year. Since they are so bland, they don't trigger the gag reflex. Just eat them slowly with small sips of warm water or ORS.

Yes, absolutely! They are super light on the stomach. Take small bites and rest for a bit, it will definitely help settle your tummy today.

They are helpful because they provide a little salt and starch without irritating your stomach lining. Just make sure you are also sipping electrolyte water so you don't get dehydrated, which is the main danger with vomiting.

Yes, they are safe and gentle to eat when your stomach is upset. Just have one or two slowly and see how you feel.
