Cherries are so delicious that it's hard to stop at just five or six! But with sugar issues, we have to control the craving. They do have a low glycemic index, which is great, but don't eat the whole bowl.

Hey, don't stress too much about having a few cherries! They are actually packed with antioxidants and totally fine for diabetics in moderation. Just grab a small handful and enjoy them guilt-free.
I log my meals daily, and fresh cherries actually have a glycemic index of around 22, which is quite low. They are great as a mid-afternoon snack. Just track the portion size on your app so you don't overshoot your daily carbs.
