Are popsicles good after vomiting?

My little one, Ayaan, was vomiting all last night. He's not eating much today, just wants something cold. My mother-in-law suggested giving him a popsicle. Is that a good idea to help him feel better after vomiting?

Actually, yes, because keeping fluids down is the main challenge after vomiting. I log my hydration on my fitness app and popsicles are great for slow water intake. Just track the ingredients and opt for electrolyte or sugar-free ones so you don't upset your stomach.

Haan na, vomit hone ke baad body pura dukhne lagta hai aur dehydration hota hai. Cold popsicles help to soothe the throat and mouth instantly. Bas bahut sour ya acidic flavor mat dena, mild wala hi achha rehta hai.

Oh God, I hate that bad taste in the mouth after vomiting, it is the worst. Popsicles are honestly a lifesaver because they slowly melt in your mouth without making you gag. Just take very small bites and let it dissolve slowly.

I literally had food poisoning last weekend and couldn't even keep normal water down. My doctor suggested having ice chips or a plain ice lolly to stay hydrated without triggering my gag reflex. It really worked wonders to calm my stomach.

I used to panic thinking cold things would make my stomach infection worse after throwing up. But my family doctor told me that slow sucking on a popsicle actually numbs the nausea. Don't worry, just try a simple lemon or water-based one.
