Are pomegranate seeds good for diabetics?

My doctor told me to include more fruits in my diet since I have diabetes. I love pomegranates, especially the seeds, but I'm worried about their sugar content. Can someone tell me if they are good for diabetics?

Honestly be very careful with fruits. I thought anar is healthy and had too much, but my sugar shot up so bad I ended up with major kidney issues. Pls consult your doc or an expert dietician first to see how much fits your diet.

Chill, don't worry too much. I used to panic and stop eating everything with sweet taste when I got diagnosed, thinking my life is over. Pomegranate seeds actually have fiber which is quite good, just keep the quantity small and you'll be absolutely fine.

With my PCOS, insulin resistance is a big struggle, and fruits can be tricky. I find having a small handful of pomegranate seeds mixed with some curd or nuts works well because it doesn't spike sugar fast. But body to body it differs, so maybe check your levels after eating once.

Hello, my dad was just diagnosed with sugar last week and we are all thoda confused. Are pomegranate seeds really okay if eaten raw? Do we need to measure the portion or avoid it completely in the evening?

No need to buy fancy expensive diabetic foods, ghar ka simple diet is best. Half a small bowl of anar seeds occasionally is fine and pocket friendly too. Just don't drink its juice because juice spikes sugar very quickly without the fiber.

Pomegranate seeds are loaded with good nutrients and high fiber, which slows down sugar absorption. I always suggest my gym clients to balance fruits with a bit of strength training or walking. It's all about how your body utilizes the carbs through activity.

I manage both high BP and borderline sugar, and lifestyle makes the real difference. Pomegranate has good antioxidants, but you must pair it with daily 45 mins walk and regular checkups. Keep an eye on your reports, that's what keeps us safe.

I totally understand how stressful it is to constantly worry about what to eat. It feels like we are punishing ourselves just to keep sugar normal. Small portions of pomegranate seeds usually work, but don't force yourself if you're feeling exhausted with all these rules.
