Are piles contagious?

My uncle was recently diagnosed with piles, and he is recovering at home. I spend a lot of time with him and just wanted to be sure. Are piles contagious, or can they be passed from person to person?

No yaar, piles are actually not contagious at all! It is just swollen veins in your lower rectum, so you can't catch it from someone else or pass it on. It usually happens due to constipation or straining, so don't worry about sharing washrooms.

I used to feel so embarrassed and worried when I had piles, constantly wondering if I could pass it on to my family. Finding out that it is completely non-contagious was such a huge relief for my mental peace. Please don't feel ashamed, it is just a common physical condition.

They are definitely not contagious. As a diabetic, I have to be very careful with my diet to avoid constipation, which is a major cause of piles. Eating high-fiber foods like oats and keeping your blood sugar stable helps prevent strain during bowel movements.

Haha, thank god they are not contagious, otherwise our entire office would be down with it by now! It is purely a lifestyle and diet issue, usually caused by sitting too long or eating way too much spicy food. Just fix your fiber intake and you will be fine.

Rest assured, piles are not infectious or contagious, so you don't need to spend any money on special sanitizers or separate toilets. If you need a checkup, a simple consultation with a general physician at a local clinic is very affordable and will clear all your doubts.

According to all medical health trackers, piles are non-communicable and non-contagious. They are caused by increased pressure in the lower rectum, often due to a lack of movement and poor hydration. Try using a water-tracking app to ensure you are drinking enough fluids throughout the day.

Piles are absolutely non-contagious. Instead of worrying about catching it, focus on simple things like drinking 3 liters of water daily and eating green vegetables. A simple home remedy like a warm sitz bath can also give you quick relief from the pain.
