Are pickled beets good for fatty liver?

I was recently diagnosed with fatty liver, and I'm trying to make healthier food choices. My cousin mentioned that pickled beets might be beneficial. Can anyone tell me if pickled beets are good for managing fatty liver?

I had Grade 2 fatty liver and tried to self-manage with various pickled foods and apple cider vinegar, but my liver enzymes actually went up due to the high sodium and preservatives. Please don't rely on these; see a gastroenterologist and get a proper diet chart.

Fresh beets are amazing for cleaning out the liver! 🥰 If you prefer them pickled, just make sure they are made with water, vinegar, and no added sugar. It's a super yummy way to keep your liver happy! 🎉

I was recently diagnosed with mild fatty liver and read that beetroot is great for liver detox, but does pickling them ruin the benefits? I get very anxious about eating the wrong things now. Has anyone else used pickled beets for this?

I panicked like crazy when my ultrasound showed fatty liver, and I started obsessing over liver detox foods like pickled beets. My doctor reassured me that simple lifestyle changes, less oil, and daily walks are what actually reverse it. Eating beets is fine, but don't stress over it as a miracle cure.

Since fatty liver and diabetes often go hand in hand, you have to be very careful with pickled beets. Many store-bought jars contain added sugar which is terrible for both conditions. Always opt for home-pickled versions with zero sugar and minimal salt.
