Are pecans good for diabetics?

I'm a diabetic and always looking for healthy snack alternatives to manage my blood sugar. My friend suggested pecans as a good option. I wanted to confirm if pecans are indeed beneficial or at least not harmful for someone with diabetes.

Yes, pecans are great for diabetics because they are extremely low in carbohydrates and won't spike your blood sugar.

I recently managed to bring my HbA1c down from 8.2 to 6.1, and replacing my tea-time rusks with 4-5 pecans played a major role in that. They kept me full without touching my glucose levels, which was a huge win for me.

I used to ignore my high sugar symptoms and eat whatever nuts I wanted, thinking they were all safe, which eventually landed me in the hospital. Please don't self-manage your diabetes based on food tips—go get your regular checkup and blood tests done under a doctor's guidance.

Pecans are absolutely wonderful for diabetics! They have healthy fats and taste so buttery and delicious, making them a perfect healthy treat. Just make sure to eat them raw or dry roasted!

I was super anxious about trying pecans because I worry about the high fat content affecting my cholesterol and heart health as a diabetic. But after looking into it, they seem to have mostly good fats. Just start with 2 or 3 nuts to see how you feel, that's what I did to stay calm.
