Are peanuts bad for diabetics?

I enjoy eating a handful of peanuts in the evening with my tea. However, my neighbor recently told me they might be bad for my diabetes. Is this true, or can I continue having them in moderation?

Actually, they are great! Peanuts have a very low glycemic index and are packed with healthy fats and protein, which helps prevent insulin spikes. Just keep an eye on portion sizes because they are high in calories.

Honestly, I'm too tired from late-night work to cook healthy, so I just munch on peanuts. They haven't messed with my family's sugar levels at all. Just don't eat the whole packet while binge-watching shows!

My dad has diabetes and eats peanuts during his evening tea. They are super cheap compared to almonds and walnuts, and his doctor said a small handful is totally fine. So don't worry about it!

I was reading some research on this for my uncle. It seems peanuts are actually beneficial because they contain magnesium, which helps manage insulin levels. Just make sure to eat them in moderation.

My sugar levels were wild last year, but after adjusting my diet, I started eating a small handful of roasted peanuts daily. They kept me full without raising my glucose levels at all. Just stick to plain dry-roasted ones, not the fried or salted versions.

Haan na, peanuts are not bad at all for diabetes! My mother also eats them daily with her tea. Just don't buy those packed masala peanuts, normal ghar pe roasted wale are the best.
